Design
The Silver Antique Finish Britannia Statue brings to life the iconic Britannia imagery from Britain’s annual Britannia coin releases. This majestic female figure personifying Britain stands tall, her windblown robes and hair exquisitely captured. She wears a Corinthian helmet and carries a trident in one hand and the Union Jack shield in the other. At the base, inscriptions are displayed.
History
The Britannia figure traces its roots to ancient Roman-era coinage in Britain, though the design disappeared after the 5th century AD. Her revival came in 1672 under King Charles II, and for over 300 years Britannia then appeared across British coins and banknotes until 2008. Today her iconic image continues annually on Britain’s Britannia bullion series from the Royal Mint, and on the reverse of the 2 circulating coin since 2015.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
