At the Germania Mint, cast silver bars are broken out into two categories. All of the bars in these categories have the same obverse designs and blank reverse fields, but the variety of weights offers something for every investor and collector. The collection includes five bars with gram-based weights and four bars with troy-ounce-based weights.

Designs

For the obverse design of the 100 oz Silver Cast Bar, the Germania Mint offers its seal as the primary design element. This seal includes a shield with the double-headed eagle in front-facing relief and a crown atop the shield. The shield is flanked by olive branches, while the eagle clutches lightning bolts in its talons. The inscriptions on this side include GERMANIA, 999.9, FINE SILVER, and 100 OZ. At the bottom of the bar, there is a space for the unique serial number. The reverse of each bar is blank.
