License plates have a fascinating history that dates back to 1901 in New York. At that time, citizens were required to display a license plate, but they had to create their own since the state didn’t issue them. It wasn’t until 1903 that Massachusetts became the first state to officially provide license plates to its residents. Since then, license plates have undergone various design changes and have become collector’s items. Here at Provident Metals, we are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to own the 1 oz Silver Colorized Stacking Across America Indiana License Plate Bars.

History
Throughout the years, the Indiana license plate has undergone several changes. The latest design, introduced in 2017, has become the longest-standing official license plate in Indiana since the beginning of the 21st century. Initially, residents had to make their own license plates from 1905-1913.
