Highlights:
The Morgan Silver Dollar was created in 1878 by George T. Morgan, then working on an apprenticeship with the United States Mint at its Philadelphia Mint facility. The Morgan Silver Dollar marked the return of silver dollar coins in US circulation after the 1873 halt of production that ended the Seated Liberty silver dollar design. The Morgans were in production from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921.
Obverse
George T. Morgans left-profile portrait of Liberty is found on the obverse of these 1 oz Silver Morgan Stackable Rounds. His portrait depicts Liberty wearing both a coronet with the word Liberty inscribed on it and a wreath crown behind that. E Pluribus Unum is inscribed above and there are 16 stars below to frame the portrait of Liberty.
Reverse
For the reverse of Silver Morgan Stackable Rounds, Morgans original American heraldic eagle design from the silver dollar is used. This includes the American bald eagle with wings spread and its talons clutching an olive branch and cluster of arrows. A wreath is featured below the eagle design. Inscriptions include United States of America, One Troy Ounce, and .999 Fine Silver.
History
George T. Morgan sat with Anna Willes Williams over the course of several sessions to develop his left-profile portrait of Liberty for the Morgan Silver Dollar. These 1 oz Silver Morgan Stackable Rounds come with a distinctive design feature. Both sides of the rounds have alternating raised and lowered surfaces around the outer rim. This enables you to stack multiple rounds securely by aligning the raised-lowered surfaces for safer stacking.

The 1 oz Silver Morgan Stackable Round from SilverTowne comes with an individual protective plastic flip or a mint tube of 20 for shipping options. When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed.
