On the obverse on these bars, you will find designs of the god Anubis, who was associated with the afterlife and mummification. Anubis was depicted as a canine, or a man with a canines head. Although originally believed to be a golden jackal, recent findings suggest that the animal depicted on these bars is actually the African golden wolf. Reverse

The reverse of the 1 oz Silver Egyptian Relic Bar features various hieroglyphics, the Egyptian writing system. This side also features images of the god Anubis. All engravings on both the reverse and obverse faces are stamped by employees of Monarch Precious Metals.
