Obverse
The obverse of the Silver 2024 South Korean Zi:Sin Draco Medal features the signature Doggaebi shield design found on each medal in this series. This incredible shield shows the mythical Doggaebi creature displayed in front-facing relief, surrounded by inscriptions. These inscriptions read REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1 CLAY, KOMSCO, and 2024 FINE SILVER 999.
Reverse
The reverse design of the 1 oz 2024 South Korean Zi:Sin Draco Medal brings the mighty dragon to life with a striking scene of Dracus, a skilled archer at the ready, riding on the back of a powerful soaring dragon headed into combat. As protector of the dragon, Dracus personifies its courageous, ferocious spirit. Inscriptions include ZI:SIN LEPUS.
History
This 12-medal program from KOMSCO portrays the guardians who protected different compass directions during ancient times of war. Each release additionally represents one of the 12 animals found in the traditional Chinese zodiac calendar, starting with 2017’s Gallus (Year of the Rooster). The final four releases will feature Ophidia, Equus, Ovis, and Pithecus.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
