Obverse
The obverse design of the 1 oz Silver 2024 South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Medal is consistent across the series, displaying the legendary Doggaebi shield framed by ornate design elements. At the center is a mischievous grinning spirit icon. Inscriptions include REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1 CLAY, KOMSCO, and 2024 FINE SILVER 999.
Reverse
The reverse of the Silver 2024 South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Medal from KOMSCO features an all-new engraved image of the mighty Chiwoo Cheonwang. This year’s depiction shows the war god gesturing forth a grand fleet of ships. Inscriptions read CHIWOO CHEONWANG.
History
Debuting in 2016, this annual series has captured collectors’ admiration with each new release. The 1 oz silver medals are minted in highly pure .999 fine silver, with mintages that can fluctuate between 30,000 and 50,000 per year. Proof versions of the medal are also issued annually, while larger sizes like 1/2 oz, 2 oz, and 10 oz have been periodically released as well.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
