Obverse
The obverse of the Silver 2023 Revolution Series San Jacinto Rounds showcases a textured outline of Texas with a smooth engraving of the Lone Star, a common design in the Texas Mint series. Inscriptions on this side read TEXAS, 2023, and PRECIOUS METALS.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 1 oz Silver Revolution Series San Jacinto Round depicts the conclusion of the battle, featuring General Sam Houston accepting the surrender of Mexican General Antonio Lpez de Santa Anna, marking a historic victory for Texas. The inscriptions here read .9999 SILVER, ONE TROY OZ, BATTLE OF SAN JACINTO, and 1836.
History
On the day of the battle, Houston’s forces, numbering around 900 men, launched a surprise attack on Santa Anna’s camp. The Mexican army, despite outnumbering the Texians, was caught off guard during their afternoon siesta. The battle lasted only 18 minutes, but its outcome was decisive. The Texian forces, driven by the battle cry “Remember the Alamo! Remember Goliad!” quickly overwhelmed the Mexican troops.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
