Reverse

On the reverse field of 1 oz Gold 2020 South Korean Zi:Sin Rattus Medals is the guardian of the underworld. Rattus is depicted wearing a celestial robe as her right hand is held out in front of her figure, seemingly holding up the moon. Issued in the Year of the Rat, Rattus has stylized rats on the shoulder armor of her wardrobe and her hair is braided up to reflect rat ears above her head. Inscriptions on this face of the medal include only Zi:Sin Rattus.

History

KOMSCO went deep into the history of Ancient Korea to use the 12 Guardians in place of traditional animal figures on the Zi:Sin Series. This makes the collection a strong competitor of other lunar-themed collections that all use animal designs.
