Obverse

The obverse field of the 1 oz Gold South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang The Square Rattus Bar depicts Do ggae bi. For the first time since featuring on 2016-dated bullion, Do ggae bi is depicted in a new release on these gold bullion bars. Again captured on the shield of Chiwoo, Do ggae bis face now has different elements prominent in his visual appearance. This includes a smile on the goblins face, more prominent teeth and eyebrows, as well as horns atop his head. The latent security figure from KOMSCO features in the half-moon cutout at the bottom of the shield. Other markings include 1 Clay Fine Gold 999 above the design element and Republic of Korea and KOMSCO below the design element.

Reverse

On the reverse side of Gold South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang The Square Rattus Bars, you will find two major figures from KOMSCO gold bullion collections. Each one representative of 2020 medal releases, you can see Chiwoo Cheonwang on the right and Rattus, a member of the 12 Guardians, on the left. On the right side, Chiwoo is back in action and ready for battle with his armor on while holding his shield and wielding a sword. On the left side, Rattus stands at the ready to assist Chiwoo using her special powers of foresight to warn him when evil rises from the underworld. Inscriptions on this face of the gold bar include 2020 Chiwoo Cheonwang and The Square.

History

The Chiwoo Cheonwang Series has been in production since 2016 with new visions of Chiwoo on the reverse with each date mark. Rattus is the fourth of the 12 Guardians to feature in the Zi:Sin Series, appearing on the 2020-dated gold medals in that collection.
