The United States Air Force has some of the advanced military aircraft in the world today. From stealth bombers to stealth fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles, the US Air Force is known for its fleet of powerful aircraft. Though the F-15 Eagle is not a flashy, stealthy aircraft, it remains one of the most important and vaunted fighters in the services inventory. Today, you have the chance to get 1 oz Copper F-15 Eagle Rounds online at Provident Metals.

Highlights:

  • Arrives with an individual flip, a protective tube of 20 rounds, or a box of 500 copper rounds!
  • Depicts the powerful F-15 Eagle!
  • Contains 1 AVDP oz of .999 pure copper.
  • F-15 Eagle in flight on the obverse.
  • Common design elements feature on the reverse of the rounds.

The F-15 Eagle was developed by McDonnell-Douglas in 1972 and first took the air in service with the USAF in 1976. The fighters were developed in three original variants, each one of which was meant to fill the role of an air-superiority fighter. The original versions included the F-15 A, B, and C. Later variants included the E and J Strike Eagles, with the latest version of the fighter jet introduced in 2021. Known as the F-15EX Super Eagle, the new plane offers modern performance on a platform that remains one of the most venerable in the world.

Obverse

An F-15 Eagle is shown in flight on the obverse side of 1 oz Copper F-15 Eagle Rounds. The design shows the F-15 Eagle soaring through the sky with three external fuel tanks, a feature of the Eagle that allows it to cover more than 3,000 nautical miles without the need to refuel. Inscriptions on this face of the copper round include F-15 EAGLE and MADE IN USA.

Reverse

There is a common design element on the reverse field of the Copper F-15 Eagle Rounds. This design features on various copper rounds from the mint. It includes a set of eagles wings supporting a version of the US national shield that has three stars at the top, with a large one rising from the shield. Above all of this, you will find a version of the American flag.

History

The F-15 Eagle has been in service with the United States Air Force from 1976 to the current date. The Eagle continues to play the role of air-superiority fighter with the United States, and is also used by Israel, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. In its 40-plus years in service, the F-15 Eagle has the distinction of never being shot down by enemy forces in battle.

Ordering

These 1 oz Copper F-15 Eagle Rounds are available to you from the mint with an individual flip. Multiples come in protective tubes of 20 rounds or boxes of 500 copper rounds. The box holds a total of 25 individual 20-round tubes.
