In this Provident Metals listing, you can take advantage by purchasing varied designs from any mint with 1/10 oz of .999 pure silver. Provident Metals is happy to offer 1/10 oz Silver Rounds in varied conditions from any mint.

Highlights:

  • Arrives with protective plastic flips!
  • Various designs available!
  • Rounds come in varying conditions!
  • Contains 1/10 Troy oz of .999 pure silver at a minimum.
  • Obverse and reverse designs determined by mint of origin.
  • If you purchase multiples, please note you may receive several in the same condition from the same mint with the same design.

When you purchase these 1/10 oz Silver Rounds through Provident Metals, your products arrive inside of individual protective plastic flips. The rounds in this listing come from any mint with varied conditions ranging from brand-new to those with varying levels of wear and tear present on the designs and surface areas.

Obverse

The obverse design elements of these 1/10 oz Silver Rounds vary based on the mint of origin. Some of the most popular 1/10 oz Silver Rounds right now are those that originated on American circulation coins in the early 20th century. For example, the obverse of the Morgan Silver Dollar, Buffalo Nickel, Walking Liberty Half Dollar, and the Mercury Dime are commonly used on silver rounds because each remains hard to find on quality circulation coins from the past.

Reverse

Like the obverse, reverse features of the 1/10 oz Silver Round vary by the mint that issued the product. In keeping with the example above, many silver rounds that feature historic US coin designs use one of two approaches to the reverse design. Some mints will use the same reverse design featured on the coin to match the silver rounds appearance to that of the historic coin it mimics. In other cases, a mint will just use its own mint logo on the reverse.

History

As mentioned above, 1/10 oz Silver Rounds and other weights in this product lineup often use historic US coin designs. The popularity of such designs stems from the relative lack of availability for quality versions of those designs on any remaining coins from the early 20th century. In addition, some private mints issue 1/10 oz Silver Rounds with simple depictions of a mint logo or symbol on one side with identifying weight, purity, and metal content marks on the other.

Ordering

This is a varied condition, any mint listing. As such, all rounds are chosen at random once your payment is processed. We cannot guarantee the condition, design, or mint of origin for the items you receive. If you purchase multiples, you could receive several matching specimens.
